Viscri, Romania – 2024. The Day 5 hike started in the village of Viscri where we walked through the town and then up into the woods above the town then through some fields to get back to the town and the fortified church. Viscri is a Saxon village and is a UNESCO World Heritage site where many of the buildings have been restored to their original condition. King Charles III owns a house in Viscri and has been active with charities in Romania that are involved in preserving history.
